About this Site

This site provides information about the Kentucky State Nature Preserves Commission, including an overview of the Kentucky Natural Heritage Program, the Nature Preserves Program and land protection options available to landowners. The Information Resources section of the site provides information on species and ecological communities monitored by the Commission, as well as KSNPC technical publications, reports and brochures. The Nature Preserves Program section provides descriptions of each of the state nature preserves and information on passive recreation opportunities at the preserves.
