Greg has worked as a GIS specialist for the commission since 2002. His position involves GIS analysis, supporting and administering BIOTICS (KSNPC's Natural Heritage Database), providing agency-wide GIS support, producing cartographic materials, assisting with data requests and the maintenance of the commission's Web site. Prior to joining the commission Greg worked in GIS-related positions in the nonprofit and private sector where he focused on GIS modeling and applications related to natural resource issues in the central and southern Appalachian Region. Greg has a Bachelor of Science in natural resource conservation and a Master of Science in forestry (specializing in GIS) from the University of Kentucky.
